Christian Louboutin Evening Bag-Woman’s Secret Weapon

Monday, April 11th, 2011

The designer Mr Christian Louboutin founded the eponymous senior footwear brand Christian Louboutin in 1992. Red soled shoes are Christian Louboutin’s signature logo, highlighting women’s gentleness loveliness, beauty, and the non-assertive mature sexy. Mr Christian Louboutin once did the design work for Charles Jourdan, Maud Frizon, Chanel, Roger Vivier and other old luxury brands. His inspirations came from the Paris nightlife and the dancers of Paris legendary nightclub. Today, Christian Louboubin’s fashion accessories have become the sign of fashionable women to show their fashion sense.

Perhaps some people do not understand that many times, women dress elaborately not only for men, but to be envied by other women. That kind of satisfaction is much more than to conquer a man. However, it is much harder to win the recognition of women than to attract men. Your hairstyle, your clothing taste, your makeup, and even your smiles are likely to be picked and criticized by them who are proficient in fashion. Therefore, the exquisite accessories are very important. The good accessories should not only be able to seize the fashion trend, but also reflect the women’s identity and status. For the fashionable beauties and ladies, those dinner party bags are an important part of the women beauty competition. Although the brand awareness is important, the more important is your sense of smell and matching skills.

There is no doubt that Christian Louboutin is the fashion manufacturer who understands women’s heart most, not only their enchanting super high heels with scarlet soles, but also basically all of their products are designed to create “the most attractive woman”.  This series, 2011 new dinner bags inherited the gorgeous and glamorous style of Christian Louboutin.

Etro Fashion Handbag-Vigorous in Spring

Friday, April 1st, 2011

Handbag is the accessory which is worth each girl’s careful selection, for it can allow your shape be more perfect and highlight personal taste and temperament. In this spring and summer, many luxury brands provide us a lot of fabulous new products for our selection. Let’s work together to capture the fashion trends of the handbags in this spring and use these unique shapes and classic designs to match your style.

Take the fashion brand Etro 2011 spring and summer new series as example, the handbags of this series brought an exciting fashion vigor for the new season. It interpreted this brand’s understanding of the seasonal fashion trend with bright colors and complex textures. In addition, it integrated these trends into the exquisite commodities like art works through the clever use of the artistic techniques.

Even the flower patterns will still be popular in spring and summer; the designers used the tribal-style geometric patterns looking refreshing instead of the ordinary flower patterns. These combinations of multi-dimensional patterns increased the tension of the brand culture.

Even if the bright colors are suitable for spring and have more eye-catching effect, the classic handbags with large capacity are still largely needed by the consumers in spring, so the commuter packages in the combination of fashion came out in response to these. Metal, weaving and the dynamic curve shapes all added the fashion sense and gentle temperament for these handbags.

D&G Continues to Make Wild Leopard High Heels

Friday, March 18th, 2011

Red, as the Chinese traditional festival color became the symbol of February, and meanwhile it brought the seductive early spring elements for the cold winter streets. Dolce & Gabbana selected the red leopard to open the new year and reflect the New Year’s celebration and Valentine’s Day passion, which can be called to kill two birds with one stone.

The tall and slim all leopard high heels are red and sexy and the high heels with jointed leopard heat-shaped are full fo fun and elegant. The large Miss Sicily handbag designed with the Sicilian tradition as a blueprint show the detailed and flawless beauty of Sicilian women. The styles are simple and elegant, including hook waving, lace and straw plaiting materials are well selected. The bright red leopard sublimated the luxury.

Design style:

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, these two Italians were completely different before they joint hands together to create the brand Dolce & Gabbana. One of them had been following his father selecting materials, cutting and tailoring in the small clothing store, and another had nothing to do with fashion. Until they met in Milan, Dolce & Gabbana was founded.

Dolce & Gabbana’s style is very unique. In the beginning, they refused to delivery the garments to the large factory to manufacture and stuck to designing, tailoring, samples, decorative accessories and all of the other clothing. In addition, they only hired the non-professional models to show, which was quite unique in the fashion industry which emphasized ostentation and extravagance at that time. They often played classic music in the exhibition. Makeup, Mediterranean hairstyle and the South Italy Sicily customs operated by the models with black hair and southern women shapes almost became the unique symbol of Dolce & Gabbana.

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011

Tunisia brand Azzedine Alaia has always been the favorite of the social celebrities and Hollywood actresses, including

the 30s film star Greta Garbo. And today, its “fans” include Naomi Campbell, American First Lady Michelle Obama and Victorian Beckham. They all can not resist the super charisma of the luxury leather handbag. Here I will introduce a fine design from this brand-Alaia perforated leather XL handbag.

There is no doubt that this design will touch any fashionista’s heart. The material with metallic luster (It is bronze glazed leather in essence) and the hollow tailoring send out the absolute delicate and luxurious atmosphere. What About Biker Jackets That You Can Carry

Friday, September 17th, 2010

Helmut Lang AccessoriesA little masculine is like always a trend for autumn, leather outfits and accessories are like perfect for fall. When it comes to leather, I can always think of a cool styled lady on the back seat of a motorcycle! And now let’s think of the new Helmut Lang accessories as biker jackets you can carry, then you’ll have the coolest looks ever!

“Our philosophy,” says Nicole Colovos, who, along with husband Michael, makes up the design partnership behind Helmut Lang, “is to create luxurious pieces with an edge.” So, if it works, why not think the same way with their first accessories collection? “The bags are inspired by motorcycle jackets,” Colovos says of the tough creta leather, buttery soft napa, and perch skin purses with multiple zips and pockets. But look closer and you’ll discover a little more about the pair who came up with them: Shark’s tooth buckles and tightly braided fisherman’s handles allude to Michael’s previous career as a commercial fisherman, while every option from clutches, messengers, hobos and overnight weekenders reveal Nicole’s love of utilitarian functionality.

That’s not the only thing to look forward to this spring. Although the classic Langian silhouettes are much in evidence—cropped leather jackets, slouchy pants, and tuxedo blazers—more dresses have been added. Digitally enhanced grayscale, tangerine, and vermillion graphic patterns appear on breezy halter necks and asymmetrical summery dresses, inspired by the curvilinear landscapes and shades found in photographer Edward Burtynsky’s book Oil. What links the bags so seamlessly with the collection is the duo’s penchant for layering. Unzip one clutch and it becomes a handle-less handbag that a second clutch will fit inside. That solves the dilemma of which bag to carry, leaving us only to decide: which dress to wear?

I am not fond really fond of these clutches, but I love those handbags and cross-body bags and shoulder bags, they’re totally amazing, I would love to carry them every day this fall.

Wooden Bottomed Sandals to Come

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Suno Adds SandalsEye-popping prints are welcomed everywhere lately, it looks that people now want to hold a prints party on themselves.

I love the beautiful style, it looks so happy and light, so great for summer and spring. Moreover, if it’s small in size, it can be the eye-popping spot in autumn and even cold winter! Let’s check out these gorgeous sandals!

When you’re known for mixing brilliant, eye-popping African prints, no reason to stop at the ankle. For their Spring 2011 presentation yesterday, Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty debuted their two collaborative styles with Loeffler Randall, each using textiles from the duo’s collection. Our favorite was the wood-bottomed Erin sandal (no relation, as it were, to Beatty), which got dressed up in floral, kanga-inspired printed cotton canvas.

I totally love the happy print, and the wooden bottom looks just graceful! The style is really amazing, it’ll make your foot glare at any occasion. It goes on sale at Opening Ceremony and online at loefflerrandall.com this February.

Affordable Brian Atwood Footwear to Come

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Jones Apparel Group Nabs Brian AtwoodDesigner shoes are usually adorable but not quite affordable for people like me who don’t have like $700 budget for a single pair of platform heels. So it is always struggling for me to see these gorgeous designer shoes, always dreamed that they will come out with a lower price. Now it seems that the dream is almost coming true: Jones Apparel Group nabs Brian Atwood to launch an affordable footwear collection.

Buzzy shoe designer and Rachel Zoe-favorite Brian Atwood recently resigned from his post as creative director at Bally, so it’s no surprise that he’s getting into something else.

Jones Apparel Group has inked a deal with the designer to launch a contemporary footwear and accessories collection. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

In the past few years, Jones has attempted to revive its fuddy-duddy image through partnerships with the likes of Stuart Weitzman and Rachel Roy.

The line, tentatively named B Brian Atwood, will feature shoes priced between $200 and $400, as well as boots around $600.

This gives those of us who can’t afford $720 for a pair of patent leather platform heels some hope. This initial contract is for five years.

Totally great news, right? I just can’t helping imagine wearing those incredible shoes, let’s just wait for more details to come.

Ben Minkoff to Come for The Boys

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Rebecca Minkoff Nicky MessengerWhen it comes to wearing and other outfits, it seems to me that the fashion world cares more about the women than the men. I don’t know exactly why, maybe because women care more about their apparels than men? Or maybe because I always just always pick the women’s.

Anyway, I do believe that guys deserve some more fashion attentions, and here’s something for the boys: Rebecca Minkoff dishes on the man’s bags you’ll want to steal.

Rebecca Minkoff stole out hearts years ago with the so-called Morning After Bag (MAB, for short), and now she’s out to steal our men–or the spot on their arms, at least–with the introduction of Ben Minkoff. Inspired by her grandfather, a World War II fighter pilot, the collection-for-guys promises all the rugged durability and old-school details we love…and, with any luck, the cool factor required to make your significant other spring for a new look. We won’t tell if you want to take one for a spin, either.

Want some real information on this new Ben Minkoff collection? Here’s a short interview of Rebecca Minkoff:

Many times, designers going from catering to women to targeting men will just add chunkier hardware and adopt a more rugged design. But your products tend to be hardware-heavy and durable to begin with. Was it difficult to really make this line stand out and feel more masculine?
Rebecca Minkoff: With the Ben Minkoff collection, it was important to take a step back from our female customer and think about what men are really looking for in terms of functionality of a man bag. We did include similar brass hardware that we use in the women’s collection because I love the aged look. And it’s not super shiny, which gives the bags that vintage feel. I believe in the little details that make things unique, whether it’s a bag for a man or a woman.

The Ben Minkoff line is visibly inspired by the 1940s. Where specifically did these bags come from? Does each one cater to a slightly different person?
The spring 2011 collection was inspired by the bags the Air Force used during the ’40s and were based off of the three classic bags–the map, mail and motorcycle.

Who do you imagine are the men who will use these bags? Can you describe your dream client?
We pictured a west coaster-meets-urban kind of guy who would look at the bags and see classic, functional, but stylish pieces. My dream client is simply a cool guy looking for versatile pieces with a timeless feel. We’ve even had an incredible response from our female customers who wanted a more masculine bag!

How cohesive does this line feel in terms of your past work? Did it feel like a very different direction for you when designing it?
Designing Ben Minkoff was a natural next step for me as it’s a great way to grow the Rebecca Minkoff brand into more of a lifestyle brand. We had an abundance of requests to create a men’s line and felt it was the right time to introduce the collection to our customers.

What are you inspired by lately? What influences can we expect to see in your next line?
I get a lot of inspiration from vintage pieces and traveling. Being absorbed in history and other cultures is pretty inspiring. Before I set out to design a collection, I typically put together a mood board with a mix of vintage designs, beautiful photography, sketches and mementos I’ve picked up from my travels.

Well, this is the story we’ve got, and you can now start gossip with your friends or boyfriends. And in case you don’t already know, the Ben Minkoff line will be available this spring at BenMinkoff.com.

Pamela Love’s Metallic Purses

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Pamela Love’s Metallic PursesBet you’ve already spotted lots of nice fall bags, maybe even bought several by now. But I’ve found this one particular one, totally glamorous one, you got to check it out! Is it jewelry? Or is it art? Pamela Love’s Metallic Purses are both, you will absolutely love the cute gorgeous purses, believe me!

“If you keep them pretty stuffed, they aren’t too noisy,” laughs jewelry designer (and CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist) Pamela Love of her metal purses. These limited-edition, compact, hear-me-coming pieces fall neatly—or clang musically!—into fall’s small-structured-bag trend. Except, Love has crafted them from pewter that’s been plated in silver, copper, or brass, and strung with a dangling feather and metal bird-claw charm. “I love the idea of mimicking fabric and leather in metal,” says the former assistant to Francesco Clemente, who clearly still calls on her nonconformist artistic flair when it comes to design. But it’s not all about concept; they are functional pieces too, she says: “They fit your phone, keys, credit card—all the essentials!”

So, do you love it? Well I do, it’s totally gorgeous, a perfect fall bag that is something different and fabulous in the mean while. The Pamela Love bag retails for $3000, available from August 13 exclusively on revolveclothing.com.
