Check out thsi Lady Dior Medium Patent Top Handle Bag.

If you are an organized person you will probably love the Lady Dior Medium Patent Top Handle Bag. Tight and concise, this no-frills bag can be carried as a tote or as a shoulder bag with the detachable strap. The patent leather is embellished with quilted stitching and accented with Dior charms hanging from one of the front handles. A jacquard pattern lines the purse and the top zipper keeps everything inside secure. If you are not a fan of khaki, the patent purse also comes in black, white and sapphire blue. I love the patent leather, the polished feel is great, and I love the classic design too. The bag is indeed a little pricey, but totally gorgeous, worth it anyway!

Tiffany & Co. to Design Glamorous Handbags

Tiffany & Co HandbagHandbags is a forever great topic for women. No matter how many bags we have, we can just never stop searching for a nicer one (or simply a different one). And jewelry is another favorite of all women, and Tiffany & Co. jewelry appeals to us greatly, literally every women love them. So, how glamorous it will be if combine the two favorites together! The news today is that it seems Tiffany & Co. wants to have a try to design handbag line.

When Tiffany acquired the bankrupt Lambertson Truex, we did not envision that these lovely bags would be the end result. Sure Lambertson had a decade-long history of luxury bags, but could they transition the high-end jewelry retailer into this market?

The union may have been questionable at first, but the pairing has brought about beautiful bags with an ‘it’ bag factor. These handbags come in various styles, shapes and sizes, but the above is our favorite. Sure they’re stylish and sleek, but never under-estimate the Tiffany blue element. Say hello to the Lyn clutch, this may be our first meeting, but the odds are good that we will be seeing them about town soon.

Shinning, glamorous and elegant, all you would ask for a clutch, the Tiffany & Co. new handbag line is totally awesome, love the stunning clutches!

Lara Stone for LV

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Lara Stone and Louis VuittonFashion rocks and now the world is crazy about Lara stone! Seriously, can you count how many covers or editorials she has been featured on recently?! As she is now going to be married, she might be the most hitting girl in the fashion world now, well, let’s look at her new Louis Vuitton ad!

Marc Jacobs is very pleased with the selection of model Lara Stone for the new Louis Vuitton ad campaign. Lara replaced Madonna, and all indications are she was the perfect choice. This is one photo of her first campaign career at LV, photographed by the world-renowned Steven Meisel.  She epitomizes the curvey and glamourous sought-after look of the new decade. Arguably she ushered in the look, and we were all entranced. The theme of the ad is natural and tranquil and it works well against the glamour and luxury of the model and her Vuitton.

As I saw this I was very intrigued by how off the concept was from LV’s usual luxurious atmosphere and probably too editorialistic. To be honest, these ads are very close to the previous Stella McCarney’s campaign, but I’m happy Lara makes these visuals look fantastic. From these ads we can see the latest pieces from LV Spring 2010 runway, I find the items better looking here than it was in Paris probably making my mind change about this collection.

Certainly, the goal of these campaigns is to entice women to aspire to be like the model and shop Louis Vuitton. I would say that mission has been accomplished. And just asking, “Do you miss Madonna?”

Prada Sells Shoes, Not Shares

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

pradaSpeaking of prada, we recall fantastic dresses, amazing handbags and gorgeous shoes and other luxury goods,  but now debt too! Fashion just keeps shocking me out, I really really can’t imagine how $1.5 BILLION debt happens to such a long standing successful company?

In spite of our own love for studded gladiator platforms and crushed velvet leopard dresses, Prada’s fallen pretty deep into debt, $1.5 billion worth of debt.

And so it follows, naturally, that rumors would swirl about Miuccia’s plans to sell a stake in her brand. They’ve swirled for years actually, and just last week The New York Daily News hinted that Richemont, the Switzerland-based luxury goods group that owns Montblanc and Cartier, was about to buy a third of the company.

But both Richemont, and a Prada spokesperson deny the rumors. “The company categorically denies the sale of a stake to Richemont. There are no negotiations in existence,” said the latter. But if the sale had gone through, Richemont, the second largest luxury group in the world, would become a worthy rival of LVMH.

With the price they sell their goods, it is really hard to believe that prada is seriously in debt, yet that is ture! And as for the sale, I really know nothing more than you do, but personally hope not, Love prada the way it is now!

Strange trend of the ad campaigns

headless model

For all these years we’ve watched fashion shows and endless ad campaigns, every year it was different and this year comes with a really strange trend-the headless models.

I’m just starting to see a trend, Spring Summer 2010 ad campaigns featuring models with half or fully cropped heads.I can only find two reasons for this interesting:

First, for so long, the model/models used in a campaign have been as important as the clothes.  I wonder what the logic is behind this? Are these fashion houses trying to make an artistic statement, or are they trying to deflect the attention from the model to make the clothes stand out more?

Secondly, In these hard economic times, with businesses failing frequently, this might be a creative way to cut some of the costs down.  Instead of paying top dollar for top models, fashion houses could instead pay a lot less!

I’m not going to deny that they still look fancy and gorgeous, nevertheless, I think we still prefer them with heads included!
