Off-Kilted Farewell

The weird/wonderful Japanese menswear line Number (N)ine is sadly shuttered. This really is a great loss for some of us, because you know, Number (N)ine’s just so innovative and to someone it simply can’t be replaced! Really very sad, but still there’s some sweet, its last collaboration, a range of sneakers with Converse, (pictured up here) will hit the stores by this weekend.
As a farewell to esteemed Tokyo brand Number (N)ine, Converse recently teamed up with the now defunct label for a final covetable collaboration. The resulting asymmetrical Chuck Taylor All Star and One Star oxford-styled sneakers make a fitting end for Number (N)ine, as to many of us, our childhood started with Converse. Takahiro tweaked the classic Converse models with an askew lace-up, a nod to the innovative 1970 Converse Odessa. Made of premium deer skin, the shag suede upper’s uneven texture lends a spackle-paint texture for a modern Boho feel. While saying goodbye is always hard, as Takahiro eloquently states “When you’re finished changing, you’re finished”—the Converse collaboration seems a silver lining to that cloud.
The price is about $140 each pair, for those who really love the brand it’s quite collectable, totally worth the money! And if you just want a nice pair of sneakers, this is going to be great with the two labels on!
With Spring on its way, everyone’s getting ready to begin a more vigorous life and make it full of movement! Since we don’t wear sneakers often although we tend to really love them sometimes, should I just say that Spring/Summer are the real season for sneakers!
To be honest, I am not really a fan of these sportswear, but you know sometimes you’ll have to use these on particular occasions, for example, hiking or running. So you’ll need some sportswear, and this is men’s wear for loved one.
