Naomi Campbell Teamed Up With Dolce & Gabbana for Charity

Friday, August 27th, 2010

Naomi Campbell and Dolce & Gabbana Design T-Shirts for CharityCharity is one of the hottest topics in fashion, and a very good one too. The fashion world seems to have made a lot from the society, so it seems that everyone do look forward to the celebrities to show their kindness in charity and to take their responsibility too. So it is really breaking news that fashion world always teams up for charity, and this time Naomi Campbell and Dolce & Gabbana design T-Shirts for charity. Despite my personal feelings about the supermodel (and it’s really nothing), this is really great news.

Naomi Campbell and Dolce & Gabbana have collaborated on a collection of 14 T-shirts for charity. Each tee has an image of the supermodel that was captured by some of the most acclaimed fashion photographers, like David La Chapelle, Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Meisel and Paolo Roversi to name a few.

Fashion for Relief is Campbell’s charity, and it raise funds whenever an urgent need arises globally. This organization mobilizes the fashion industry from within to help society at large. You can get a signed tee from the supermodel at Fashion’s Night Out on September 10th at Dolce & Gabbana’s Madison Avenue store in New York City. They will be sold for $200 each, but remember that the proceeds will go to a worthy cause.

I love the tees and the gift wrap is so nice and sweet, and it’s for charity! We love fashion all the way, and we love it even more when it comes to charity!

Born HIV Free

Jean Paul Gaultier Designs T-Shirt for CharityCharity is always a nice topic in fashion, and it’s nice thing. So we can always hear that fashion world cares for the weak, and we see lots of beautiful clothes designed for charity. And as we all care about the HIV kids, so here’s Jean Paul Gaultier to design t-shirt for charity.

Jean Paul Gaultier has designed a limited-edition T-shirt for the Born HIV Free campaign. The Global Fund’s new campaign is aimed at getting out the message that “… no child should be born with HIV…,” says Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. Bruni-Sarkozy is not only the First Lady of France, she is also the ambassador for the charity. It makes perfect sense that she would be the face of the campaign, and she urges us to get involved in a public service announcement.

Let’s face it, the tee is pretty awesome, and the cause, life-saving. This is totally a good thing, hopefully this will really do some help to the kids.
